Trauma-Informed Education & Frameworks

To understand the Integrity Abuse injury more fully, I recommend:

Omar Minwalla

Dr. Omar Minwalla developed the Deceptive Sexuality & Trauma Treatment (DSTT) Model and related clinical frameworks addressing deceptive sexuality, integrity–abuse, and trauma-informed treatment.

Trish Haight

Trauma‑informed educator and clinician integrating attachment science, nervous‑system care, and compassionate support for partners facing betrayal. A member of the 2026 DSTT Professional Alpha Circle recognized by Dr. Omar Minwalla, she has spent more than sixteen years walking with individuals and couples through the painful discovery of a “Secret Sexual Basement” — hidden patterns of deceptive sexuality that break trust and shake a person’s sense of reality — offering steady guidance toward truth, grounding, and wholeness.

Their influence over the years has helped many women move from confusion to clarity — and from destabilization toward grounded healing.

What Is Integrity Abuse?

The term Integrity Abuse comes from the clinical work of Omar Minwalla, who identified that secret sexual behavior combined with chronic deception and gaslighting causes profound psychological injury.

This is not simply addiction.
It is relational abuse through deception.

Integrity Abuse often includes:

  • Hidden sexual behaviors

  • Compartmentalized secret lives

  • Gaslighting and minimization

  • Sexual entitlement

  • Psychological destabilization

  • Withholding truth while demanding intimacy

This creates betrayal trauma — a specific attachment injury that affects the nervous system, cognition, identity, and sense of safety.

Healing Requires Informed Support

Integrity Abuse is not resolved through:

  • Communication tools alone

  • Couples therapy alone

  • Minimizing language

  • Spiritual bypassing

Safety comes first.
Truth comes first.
Then healing begins.

I am not a licensed therapist.
I serve as a resource curator and advocate for women seeking clarity and healing.

I strongly encourage working with a trauma-informed therapist who understands betrayal trauma and deceptive sexuality dynamics.
